Cat Talk

I like cats. Right now, I'm reading a book on the psychology of cats. Here's a super quote:

To human beings, communication is a means of expressing ideas. To cats, it is, too. The major difference is that for cats, the principle idea that is usually in need of expression is, "Get out of my face."

Cat lovers out there, can I get an Amen?

Unfortunately, more and more evidence is pointing to cats role in the most devastating of human psychological problems - schizophrenia.

PS. Congratulations on the SuperBowl victory.

Actually, I'd say my cat says far more "love me" and "pay attention to me" than "get out of my face". Don't misunderstand - he get's lots of love and attention (my wife says I spoil him). There's nothing aloof about my cat.

I believe my cat tolerates me. He reminds me often that his ancestors used to be thought of as gods in Egyt. I then have to remind him that "that was then, this is now." Yes, I do have deep philosophical discussions with my cat.

Hey! How 'bout them Steelers, huh?"
