I have to recommend one of my newer favorite bands, Good Brother Earl. They are a local (Pittsburgh) group certainly headed for great success. Look at their website. Buy their music. Be happy.

What about all the classics and great contemporary composers' works?
I know. I actually felt kinda guilty putting only contemp artists on my list with only a nod to Bach. The truth is I like all sorts of music. I enjoy the great masters, J.S. Bach, L. Beethoven, A. Mozart, G. Handel, F. Mendelssohn, E. Presley. I like showtunes: Gilbert & Sullivan, Andy L. Webber, Cole Porter, S. Sondheim, to name a few. And lately I've been trying to become acquainted with jazz.
