"The Golden Compass" - A Christian Response

There are tons of helpful resources out there. But if you are looking for one more, give this one a try. I wrote it for Concordia Publishing House and the price is right. FREE.

If you read it, I'd be very interested to hear your comments.

Aren't polar bears the awesomest, by the way?!

I read your response to "The Golden Compass" and I was very impressed. I think your take on creativity in the beginning especially puts a good light on how to view art and artistic expression. I agree that this has the potential to be dangerous. I choose to read the books and view the movies because I work with youth in my church who will be doing so and I want to be able to discuss it with them if they have questions. Not everyone needs to (or should) make that decision (which is exactly what you say in your guide.. sorry to repeat it!). Excellent guide, well written and with great points. Thanks a lot!
