Goose Babies at the Seminary

One of the neatest things about living on our beautiful 190 acre seminary campus is the waterfowl. Squads of ducks and geese call our little lake home, at least for part of the year. Watching them nest and rear their young gives me a genuine Tony Soprano moment.

Nice photos! Did you take those or is Julie planning her next book?

I've enjoyed watching them navigate the steps, up and down.
You'd think something with wings and the capacity for flight wouldn't take the time and trouble.
That is a special, beautiful place, all due such simple, placid things, from the architecture to the grounds to the geese.

I wish I could take credit for the pics but Julie snapped them.
