24: Our Latest Entertainment Obsession

Julie and I don't actually watch very much television. The news. Some documentaries here and there. Jacob likes sports and cartoons. Mostly television is just mind-rot.

However, there are exceptions. The program "24" has been around for several years now, but we'd never watched it. But then we picked up a DVD of the first episodes of the first season from the library. Now we're hooked.

Its a good show- it actually has a plotline, which is more than I can say for 99% of the rest of TV. Even my wife watches it, and she isn't a big action person. Welcome to the club. ;-)

It is addictive.
I started watching the first season a few months back when it cam on TV here... Now I'm halfway through the second.
Sometimes, I think, "yeah right" because nobody could ever go through all that non-stop intensity in a 24 hour period.
But that's what it's all about.

Does anyone watch "House"? I just
ran across it a couple of weeks ago and found it to be very well
acted with extremely interesting plots. The only thing I did not like was I thought "Dr. House" was
too big for his britches, but last week he was "cut down to size" which was needed!
