This has nothing to do with your
"favorites" which is an interesting
list, to be sure. I strongly urge
your readers to listen to the program on IssuesEtc. for Sunday,
January 22. In an interview with
David Wells, Todd Wilken discusses
with the learned professor, the topic of "Christianity and Post-modern Culture." It is a sobering
assessment of where the church is at in our culture and it is even
"a call to arms" (so to speak) for
all believers. Of course, the only
"arms" we have is Word & Sacrament,
and Well brings that out clearly.
I believe that this program is one of the best (if not THE best) I have heard on this topic.
