Folks, here are some additions to my list of confessional Lutheran bloggers:
Aardvark Alley - Because "earth pig" is one of my favorite expressions
Balaam's Ass - Because a talking jackass is something I can relate to.
Cross + Wise - Because the cross is foolishness
The Crowned Ones - Because Pr. Cholak looks like Dietrich Bonhoeffer
Kiihnworld - Because I'm ecumenical
The Lutheran Logomaniac - Because words mean things

Didn't realize this was a Lutherans only room!
Dave
Dave, don't be offended, please. Ever since I began this blog, my blogroll has been called "Other Lutheran Blogs." I could add a list of "Other Christian Blogs" too, but just haven't gotten to it.
lol, it's all good bro. Just thought it was funny for I didn't know people still had such a strong sense of denominationalism (if that is a real word).
Here's a joke I think you might appreciate.
Dave
Walking across a bridge, I saw a man on the edge, about to jump. I ran over and said: “Stop. Don’t do it.”
“Why not?” he asked.
“Well, there’s so much to live for!”
“Like what?”
“Are you religious?”
He said: “Yes.”
I said: “Me too. Are you Christian or Buddhist?”
“Christian.”
“Me, too. Are you Catholic or Protestant?”
“Protestant.”
“Me, too. Are you Episcopalian or Baptist?”
“Baptist.”
“Me, too. Are you Baptist Church of God or Church of the Lord?”
“Baptist Church of God.”
“Me, too. Are you original Baptist Church of God, or Reformed Baptist Church of God?”
“Reformed Baptist Church of God.”
“Me, too! Are you Reformed Baptist Church of God, Reformation of 1879, or Reformed Baptist Church of God, Reformation of 1915?”
He said: “Reformation of 1915.”
I said: “Die, heretic scum,” and pushed him off.
Thanks Pastor Stiegemeyer...I'll take that as a complement!
So listing the blog of an evangelical-turned-confessional Lutheran who just happened to be found by the ELS is an attempt to be ecumenical? I don't know what to say... I'm happy and sad, honored and confused all at once. Of course, I walk around like that most days, so nothing is new.
Thank you for your mention, kind sire.
