Pastor Andrew Elisa, President of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Sudan and a dear friend, came to speak to our congregation in January.

We are praying that with the recent peace agreement, the people will prosper and the church will continue to grow as it is doing. When Pr. Elisa was here, he made it clear that we should not think that with a treaty, all things will be well for the Christians. They might not be persecuted with guns (hopefully not), but the pressures, coercions and intimidations will continue.
